We landed at Narita Airport on time around 1:00pm on Sunday afternoon (I lost half a day!) I managed to get through immigration without a problem and then customs. There were people telling where to go for each and it didn't take long. I waited in a short line to buy my train ticket to the city which was about an hour away by fast express train. Fortunately the agent speaks English!
Alan and Yuka and Kent met me at Tokyo Station which is where I would have had to change trains, and that would have been hard to do by myself! We took another train and walked to their apartment and then made the 10-minute walk so I could check in at the hotel.
The hotel room in tiny, but has everything I need. There's a double bed, small fridge, and a toilet that washes your bottom when you press a button!
After some more walking, we came back to their apartment, and Yuka cooked dinner for us. Kent showed me all his toys, and he really likes the sunglasses and books I brought him.
We walked to a store for a few things and then I went to bed for a wonderful nine hours of sleep!
