Gym class and lunch at Google

Kent is enrolled in the toddler class at "My Gym", so we all went to class with him!  It was a fast, 30-minute walk to class, up and down hills, so I got my workout on the way!  Not many of the children stay still for "circle time", but they enjoyed all the activities.  The assistants work really hard, encouraging the children to participate.

After that, we all went to the Google office for lunch.  Since it's a holiday week, not many employees were working, but many had brought their families.  Google provides free food in three different cafeterias, and has free snacks in several mini-kitchens.  The mini-kitchen on Alan's floor has a sunken seating area, which Kent loved!  And, he loves to sample the various kinds of bottled tea.  I met some of Alan's co-workers and also his boss.

Google has several floors of a very tall building, and Alan is on the 44th floor.  We had a great view of Tokyo, but unfortunately,  it was a cloudy day.
I finally remembered to take a picture of the front of my hotel.
Alan's building from street level.

Looking up at Alan & Yuka's apartment
The open windows on the left of the next-to-the-top floor are theirs.

Huge cemetery on the way to gym class

Only gas station I've seen!
It'a about $5.00/gallon!
When I asked Alan how much it was, he had no idea!

Nice house on a back street

Strange building

The tall building behind is the Google office.
They Hyatt is in front.

Don't know what this is supposed to be!

Apartments or condos

Mall entrance to Google

Some expensive shops!

They are everywhere!

Views from the Google building.
Too bad it was cloudy!
I took a video with my phone, but there a reflection in the glass.
You can get an idea of the scope of the city

It just goes on forever!

Mini-kitchen on Alan's floor

Great play area! (not what it was built for!)

These snacks looked good until I read the card!

Raised highway in the city

Small shrine.  There are lots of these.

Traffic jam

Don't know what they are trying to sell!
